Do you want to practice for your next trip to the dentist? Or maybe you want to be part of the dental team when you grow up? Let's have some fun and practice!

What You Need:

• Sunglasses or glasses

• Gloves

• Spoon

• Mirror

• Apron or a towel

• Cup

 

What To Do:

1. Dress Up: Find as many of these items as you can around your house. Put on the sunglasses or glasses, gloves, and apron or towel.

2. Set Up: Use the spoon as a pretend dental tool and the mirror to check your teeth.

3. Role Play: Pretend to be the dentist and check your patient's (a friend, family member, or stuffed animal) teeth. Use the cup to give them a rinse.

 

Have Fun: Practice talking to your patient and helping them to feel happy and calm. You can even swap and let someone else be the dentist!
